i started using this tool just two days ago - for those who don't know, i work in AIS for Localization & Desktop Publishing - in a project for creating a TM (Translation Memory) for an project wasn't translated by us. the tool is really good - i think, the procedures followed by the program is real smart. first of all just like Trados; this application doesn't translate a word, and it can't identify the translation of it.
How does it work?
you have to start a new project and select both source and target languages, as every lang has its own rules and analyses. for example if you choose English as a source and Arabic as a target, then you select the English file(s) and Arabic one(s). ask the program to align the files. it searches for dots, paragraph marks and try to give every paragraph its correct translation.
How to check accuracy?
the program identify numbers, links, dashes and so on to make the best possibilities of matching.
one thing i liked in the tool is error checking. if the program is confused about two or more paragraphs, it tries to correct itself in the next one by searching for special cases letters or special characters.
i'll tell more about it later. just see the shot for now ;-)
